Annika Lough

Originally from Newcastle, Annika now lives on a local farm. She holds a national diploma in equine and business studies, and worked at various equine yards and as a kennel assistant before joining us in 2018. She has a dog, two cats, two horses and chickens at home, and loves catching up with her family and friends, shopping, gaming, movies and going to gigs.

Anna’s favourite part of her job is meeting our clients’ pets and helping to care for such important members of their family. She also has a passion for surgery and ultrasound, especially using it for the diagnosis of medical cases. Away from work, she loves spending time with her daughter, walking, hiking and going on adventures with her dog, Elmo.

Claire Kealey

Since qualifying as a registered veterinary nurse in 2017, Claire has achieved certificates in feline nursing and feline behaviour, her two main interests. She has a real soft spot for senior cats and loves helping owners to improve their cat’s physical and emotional welfare. She loves spending her free time with her daughter, and is an avid bookworm and bird watcher.
Celia Lowe

Celia began her career at a veterinary practice in Sussex in 2003, and went on to become a head receptionist there. In 2012, she moved to the North East and joined our team, originally as a senior receptionist before taking on the role of practice administrator in 2018. She has overseen lots of changes at our practice over the years – all for the better!

Jenny Glass

Before qualifying as a registered veterinary nurse in 2012, Jenny studied countryside management at Newcastle University and later worked for the RSPB. She joined us in 2017 and has a keen interest in wound management, having undertaken further qualifications in the field. In her free time, she loves exploring the outdoors with her dogs, Ruthven and Tarran.

Paulina Cudzilo

Pauliza completed her training in Wroclaw in Poland, and has been working in small animal practices in the UK since 2017. She holds a certificate in small animal dentistry and oral surgery, and has also achieved Advanced Practitioner status. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her cats, tucking in to good food and exercising.
Rowena Marshall

After graduating from the Royal Veterinary College in 2021, Rowena spent time working in New Zealand, before returning to the UK and moving up north to work in mixed and small animal practices. In her own time, she loves hiking through the Northumberland countryside.
