Dental Referrals
We’re always happy to work with referring veterinary surgeons on more complex dental cases.

We have a modern dental suite with dental x-ray equipment, allowing us to perform a wide range of dental procedures in-house.
How we work
- We can perform a detailed dental consultation, where we will examine the pet’s teeth and develop a treatment plan tailored to their needs.
- Dental treatments are performed under general anaesthesia, including comprehensive pain management.
- Every patient receives a complete oral assessment, including dental cleaning.
- X-rays are performed routinely to allow for the assessment of root structures and surrounding bone.
- Extractions remain the mainstream dental treatment in dogs and cats. We pride ourselves on using safe, non-traumatic extraction techniques.
- In selected cases, extractions can be avoided and tooth function can be maintained:
- For treatment of malocclusions (‘bite’ problems), we offer orthodontic movement of the teeth as well as shortening the teeth (crown reduction and vital pulp therapy).
- For treatment of fractured and non-vital (dead, discoloured) teeth, we offer root canal therapy.
- Attachment loss can be restored by using debridement and grafting techniques.
We value preventative healthcare and can offer detailed advice on daily oral hygiene, which should start from when the pet is young.
Estimates of costs are provided following the dental consultation and are tailored to the pet’s needs.
